They are quoted as saying “costs to renovate an apartment in 2013 increased by over 20%, however, to take the price of marginal dollar in early January 2014 as a measure, a bathroom remodel costs 27.5% less and a kitchen 25.5% less than a year ago.” So this may be a good time to make those updates on your kitchens and bathrooms especially if you are thinking of selling your home in the next year or so.
