Paraguay ranks fourth as the country that exports the most beef per inhabitant, according to the 2019 annual data from the Trade Data Monitor and the World Bank.
The information was collected by the Uruguayan economist and member of the Market Access and Intelligence division of the National Meat Institute (INAC), Álvaro Pereira Ramela.
He explained that only countries that sold more than US $ 100 million in meat to the world were considered for the publication.

As published, Uruguay leads the ranking with US $ 515 per inhabitant, followed by New Zealand, Australia, Paraguay and Argentina. In the case of Paraguay, the figure reaches US $ 120 per inhabitant.
Within the table, it also placed other countries in South America, such as Brazil in ninth place and Chile in the thirteenth position.
