Max Gill and Michelle D’Artigues join as Principals in Mexico City, continue partnership to grow business line for the region
Mexico City, MX – Emile Sarraf, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Mexico City office, today announced the appointment of Max Gill and Michelle D’Artigues as Avison Young Principals. Gill and D’Artigues, who work closely as partners, alongside a team of three, join Avison Young to grow the Valuation & Advisory business for the firm in South America.
“Max and Michelle are two of the leading real estate valuation consultants and advisors in South America, bringing a combined 40 years of experience to deliver the right mix of services for our clients,” says Sarraf. “There is tremendous opportunity across Latin America for quality valuation and consultancy advice from bilingual real estate experts with deep experience and a solid track record, and we’re so happy to add the experience of Max, Michelle and the team to our Avison Young family.”
Gill and D’Artigues will focus on valuation and consultancy work across asset types, leveraging market research, due diligence, feasibility analysis, financial analysis and valuation to deliver results for clients. In addition, the team specialize in highest and best use studies for vacant land sites and master plan projects, as well as valuation for agricultural assets. The team is also adept at advising on large international portfolios throughout South America and brings experience working in 17 different Spanish-speaking countries. They will work closely with the brokerage and transaction side of the business.

The team has experience valuing and consulting on all the main real estate asset types, including agricultural land, offices, retail, industrial, residential and hotels. Gill and D’Artigues hold MRICS qualifications. Gill also holds an SIOR designation and D’Artigues a Masters in Valuation in Mexico.
They join from CBRE in Mexico, where they served as Directors on CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory team, adding more than 500 assignments during their tenure.
Prior to CBRE, Gill served as Director and Head of Valuations for Savills in Spain, and D’Artigues served as Senior Director on the Valuations team at Cushman & Wakefield in Mexico City.
