Argentine-born Merina Begg has been in the travel business for over 25 years and is herself an enthusiastic and dedicated travel-lover. She has accumulated an extensive portfolio of knowledge in organizing unique travel experiences from her work in both Argentina and the United Kingdom.

After working for a specialist tour operator in London concentrating on the Caribbean and Far East, Merina joined a leading tour operator whose focus was initially on Africa and the Indian Ocean before she developed their South America programme which became extremely successful under her management. Later she founded a travel representation in the UK specialising in Latin America. This company continues to thrive.

In 1992 Merina returned to Argentina to join the travel company owned by her family and developed an inbound management organization with specialized divisions for cruise line requirements, corporate incentive programmes, special interest and leisure travel products.

Today, with a group of experienced and creative industry professionals, Merina introduces ARGENTINA TRAVEL PARTNERS (ATP DMC), an independent destination management company which specializes in opening up the range of unique travel experiences for new and returning visitors to Argentina, whatever their age and interests.
